A flat in London v.s an apartment in NY
Are you fed up with Stressful cities?
Well, I am. First of all, I do not like the traffic on the streets, the subway full of people and I even do not like the air here in Santiago, I cannot breath!
So, for this reason I would like to move to on London, especially in a relaxing place called “The Boardwalk”. Why? I’m going to tell you why.
First it has a river view. Could you imagine yourself waking up for the morning, preparing you, to go to your job, and suddenly, you watch this amazing landscape?
Second, the apartment has wooden flooring, I love the wood, it relaxes me! So comfortable and warm!

On the other hand, I would not like to live in New York City, certainly, I would like to know it, but, definitely, not to be there for ever! What stressing city! I found an apartment which is located in the center of the city, so noisy for me! I would not mesh well with this type of life. Would you?

Lack of Motivation in studets
Student’s motivation is an important but, ephemeral component in education. The author of the article “Motivation” asks where motivation goes. Honestly, that question is completely wrong for me. Why? I will tell you the reason.
As Dr Andrew Littlejohn, the author, says “human beings are naturally motivated, that is children are very curious and it seems to they were always ready to learn”. Unfortunately, the more students are in the school, the less motivated they are. According to
For this reason the article is actually incomplete. The author is only focusing in a little part of the lack of the motivation in older students. He did not see all these element involved and learning and moreover, what about teaching? A good teacher is not this man or woman who plans funny classes, she must consider the tastes, culture, and personal history of the students.
Even though, the article gives us a big challenge, to do “a real investigation”, we have to pay attention in all the main facts involved in educational system. And improve our teaching , because, how many teachers make a critic of their own job?
For this reason, Littlejohn should not only pay attention in students´job, he should improve their own. Because, a teacher is not the only one who teachs..students, too.
:::::Community and school::::::
First of all I would like to point out that I believe that is very important get children educated. Because, in my opinion they are not actives participates in the society. For this reason I think education encourages them to become townspeople.
Speaking to that, the video shows a very important issue which occurs in a popular neighborhood in EEUU.
An important fact, for me, it is the building of an “uncommon school”, where students learn English for free. In fact, the education there, it is personalized, teachers are able to put more attention in the students learning, getting very good results. The teachers play an important role; they are guide of their students. As a result of that, pupils feel more comfortable in study place and they do their homework for fun.
On the other hand, another important fact to say is this school was made by the whole community. It means that all the neighbors can participate in the school activities. That is, school becomes a community (M. Prieto) you remember?
In conclusion, it is not important if you do not have the resources to build a school, but, what really matters is the community organization. This school has developed a politic of public organization to support itself. Surely, they got success with too much effort and work. The more deep students are involved in their own education, the more they learn. Don’t you think?
How improve a relationship

The relationships between people are complex and sometimes they turn confused. do you know if you are a good boyfriend/girlfriend? In my point of view it is a hard question, because not always one is the only guilty when a relationship flunks out.
So, the article I read talks about how we could improve our relationships. There are interesting and true points, such us how the money can damage the couple`s love. According to that, several times I have had arguments with my friends and couple by money. Sad but true, money does be important!
On the other hand, the most important thing and "the key" to get success in love is communication. Because a love relationship is suppose to be a human relation, and it means , you should use the language when you are sad, angry, and so on. You should not be quite and not say anything when you do want to say something. Please, let’s talk!
To learn from our mistakes
I read a proverb written on a cup, which I use to take tea. It sounds weird but is absolutely true. The writing says “if you do not make mistakes, you will not learn anything”. I appreciated the advice that the cup gave to me, because I realized that we will always make errors in our professional and personal lives. But, fortunately making mistakes is a good way to learn.
To tell you the true, I have gotten very bad scores in English language; because of I have made common mistakes in different areas of the subject. But it has not freaked me out at all. Spite of that, I have tried to look for more ways to learn and I have put myself up. After all nobody is perfect!
On the other hand, we are going to be teacher, and that means we must be very careful with the mistakes we make. Because, we are going to be models for other people, our pupils, and for this reason we should not teach wrong information.
In conclusion, I need to improve more my English. But the most important thing is that learning never ends.
DRAMA- LITERATURE
Enganging drama with literature, it is a fun way to learn. Pupils can understand better a complicated text, because they analyze, comprehend it, with a fun way to learn, drama.
The teacher in the video makes a link between pupils` imagination and what they have to learn and comprehend about the text given. Drama is a very good resource to improve your speech skills, and if you represent the main facts of a story, you will learn more about it. Because you are going to understand, “doing” those issues. And you will link those facts with your own life. That motivates the students to want to learn about a book, and it helps to encourages reading and writing. Also that does something very important, "reflection". In my opinion, when you read a book, it is not so important to learn new vocabulary, grammar but I think the most important thing is reflect about the story you have read. Because that helps you to comprehend your own existence.
