As our teachers in the university have taught us, family is very important in the educational student develop. School should work with parents in the education of their pupils. The article speaks about how a specific web site helps to parents to know what children do at school. The special web site developed by Becta agency allows parents to get information about classes, teachers, etc. So, they can know more about their pupils learning. but is it enough?
I totally agree with Professor Byron, when she says “there should be better links between schools, parents and children”...
. But I do not think this is the only think that parents have to do. If they just use this program is good, however, it is not enough. Parents should try to improve the communication with their children. How? by professional help, maybe.
In my opinion education is not only learn a discipline (math, language, biology, etc)

I couldn't agree with you more. Parental concern regarding children's education is the principal factor in an early stage of life besides school itself. A website that encourages this seems a good idea to me, but definitely it's not enough. I think the whole issue starts at home, seeing what kind of relationship parents have with their children and how much time they are willing to dedicate to their son's education.
I totally agree with because as you said teachers and parents have to work together, because those are the most influent issues in the children's life. And sometimes parents foget that children's education is their responsability too.

I totally agree with you Felipe. Like you are saying, it's all about team work. It's not a family bussines, or a school bussines. Parents are responsibles about their kids education at the same time that schools are responsibles too.

I quite agree with you, but there is a thing that you mentioned and I think it is very important to solve this problem, to define what means for those teachers, parents and children to be a good person. Because, it depends on the personal values of each one.
